When we set out to make pencil pouches who to work with was a no brainer.
Public Thread is not only a local business making waves in our community, they're also making waves on a global scale. They take what would be textile scraps headed to the landfill and turn them into a new work of art, worth cherishing for many years to come. Over the years, they've saved over 100,000 lbs of scraps from the landfill. We think that's something worth celebrating.
We hung out at the studio with Janay, the founder and CEO of Public Thread and Lisa, the COO, for a day to chat about the inspiration behind the company and watch our bags come to life.
